Bee venom therapy is an apitherapy approach using live bee stings, purified bee venom, injections, topical products, or bee venom acupuncture. In cancer circles, most serious interest centers on venom peptides such as melittin and apamin, especially laboratory and animal research suggesting direct cancer-cell membrane effects, apoptosis signaling, immune/inflammatory effects, and possible drug-delivery uses.
