Black Cohosh

Herb used for menopausal symptoms and sometimes by breast-cancer survivors, but also promoted beyond evidence. Black cohosh is commonly used for hot flashes and menopausal symptoms. Cancer Research UK says there is no scientific evidence that black cohosh treats or prevents cancer; hormone-sensitive cancer contexts require care. PROS May help some menopausal symptoms in non-cancer contexts.
