Wireless Ear Pods

Description

Overview

Wireless earbuds emit low-power radiofrequency energy. This is non-ionizing radiation, so it does not directly damage DNA like x-rays. The relevant concern is proximity and duration: earbuds are worn close to the head, sometimes for many hours. Current evidence does not establish wireless earbuds as a cancer cause, and exposure is generally lower power than cell phone transmission. A cautious record can note possible close-range RF exposure with uncertain long-term relevance.
